I Started College...Today is the third day at JMU. I've learned that:
- It's a bitch to make new friends
- Walking everywhere sucks
- Especially when you're walking by yourself
- Movies also are not much fun when you're by yourself
- Coffee makers make terrible oatmeal
- I now know the ture meaning of "pee shy"
- I have to get over being part of the LGBT community, there's no point trying to hide it
- My dorm room no where resembles my beloved bedroom, I haven't even taken out Len or L
- The JMU anime club better still exist or I'm going to have a bitch of a time finding people who like anime
- The mentioning of being an artist automatically makes others question why I'm not in the art program
I don't really know what else to say... it is ONLY the third day but I'm feeling pretty depressed. Hopefully things will changes.

I wanted to avoid ODU by all possible means - I spent all my life trying to get away from ignorance and that was just one school I knew where it would be abundant.
Of course, I fucked up and chose the party school but alas, I can always transfer.

I had heard good things about JMU. I guess its really based on your personality.
I'm thinking of taking a break from college. Been looking into a few odd jobs and a possible apprenticeship as a body piercer. Maybe I'll be more into the college thing after a year off.
JMU's good if you like to wear North Face and UGG boots. I just don't belong because A) I don't do trends and B) I don't drink until I puke my guts out. Academics are nice but I don't think I want to subject myself to three more years of superficial fucktards.
Body piercing sounds interesting - good luck on the job hunt if you do decide to take a break.
